What Do We Play for?
Why would you sign up to play in a bocce league? Well, for one, there's the social aspect -- meeting people who like to have as much fun as you do. Second, there's the drinking which is mucho importante. Third, bocce is one of the best sports ever! But what are we all really playing for? Answer: a first place trophy, and a charity donation to the charity of your choosing! Oh, and bragging rights.
Rules and Scoring
We have official sets of rules that the league abides by for both outdoor bocce and indoor bocce; download and print them for reference. We recommend all newcomers at least take a glance before playing. Games are scored by point differential and only 1 team can score per frame. All outdoor games are 1 hour and played to 16 points. Bar Bocce & Glo-Bocce games are 45 minutes and played to 16 points.
Make sure you check the tabs for each division's schedule page each week for game times. See where your team ranks on each division's standings page. And don't forget to check out the pictures -- always helpful in the event of any sort of memory lapse!
