Welcome to Major League Bocce Philadelphia

Introducing Glo Bocce in South Philly!
Don’t let daylight issues keep you trapped indoors after work---subvert the sunset and get your glow on!  Using high-tech, high-visibility bocce balls that light up, this version of your favorite sport will be taking place on Thursdays in South Philly at Jefferson Square this Spring season.  We'll be providing the glo balls, the glo accessories, and all the post-game fun activites. 

Spring 2013 Season
All spring divisions are currently rollin' and the beer is definitely flowin' at our sponsor bars around town. We are hosting 3 divisions in Philadelphia this spring!

Games are every week through the week of 6/18.  The final two weeks of the season are reserved for playoffs and every team makes at least the first round! Players compete for a donation to a charity of their choosing and each receive a team t-shirt, discounted Dogfish Head drafts and pitchers, food specials, prizes and giveaways, and so much more!

What do we play for?
Why would you sign up to play in a bocce league?  Well, for one, there's the social aspect---meeting people who like to have as much fun as you do.  Second, there's the drinking which is mucho important.  Third, we can't forget flip cup!  But what are we all really playing for?  Answer: a first place trophy, and a sizeable charity donation to the charity of your choosing!  Oh, and bragging rights.

Rules and Scoring
We've got an official set of outdoor rules  and an official set of indoor rules that the League abides by - you can download and print them for reference.  We recommend all newcomers at least take a glance before playing.  Games are scored by point differential and only 1 team can score per frame.  All games are 1 hour and played to 16 points.
