Sign up to play Major League Bocce this spring and you'll get 6 weeks of bocce action, plus food and beer specials, prizes and giveaways, free parties, and a chance to positively impact a local charity! Check out pictures on Facebook from our DC divisions to find out what the original social bocce league is all about. Register one of three ways: start a team, join an existing team, or register solo and we'll place you on a team. Plus first place winners receive some awesome kick-ass trophies and we'll make a donation to a local charity on behalf of the team!
Why Bocce?
Bocce is a great recreational and social sport. It is game that is easily enjoyed by people of all ages, genders, and experience levels. Whether you are a bocce rookie, or an experienced veteran, you will find that our league games are always competitive and fun. And after our games, we head to a local sponsor bar for discounts on beer and food.
What do we play for?
Why would you sign up to play in a bocce league? Well, for one, there's the social aspect---meeting people who like to have as much fun as you do. Second, there's the drinking which is mucho important. Third, we can't forget flip cup! But what are we all really playing for? Answer: a first place trophy, and a $250 charity donation to the charity of your choosing! Oh, and bragging rights.
Location Details
Games are played on Wednesday evenings at Patterson Park in Canton. Games last an hour and are played to 16 points. Following games, league members enjoy beer and food specials at their sponsor bar, location TBD.
Rules and Scoring
We've got an official set of rules that the League abides by - you can download and print them for reference. We recommend all newcomers at least take a glance before playing. Games are scored by point differential and only 1 team can score per frame. All games are 1 hour and played to 16 points.
